Hi. My name is Stacey Lukowiak. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor in New Jersey. For the last 10 years, I have specialized in working with school aged children (grades K-12) who struggle with ADHD, learning disabilities, school avoidance, anxiety, trauma, emotional dysregulation, LGBTQ

issues, interpersonal conflict and behavioral difficulties.

In addition, I have clinical expertise working with substance abuse.

My approach with clients is always collaborative. I am client-centered, strengths based, and solutions focused. I utilize various therapeutic modalities to correspond with the needs of each individual client. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and the ARC model (Attachment Regulation and Competency).

I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and supportive therapy environment where all clients feel understood and heard. By using a combination of individual and family therapy, I am able to help clients work through their challenges by building self-awareness, emotional regulation skills, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal effectiveness skills.
